How do you take your coffee?
A flat white or a double espresso with a shot of mind reading and mentalism?
Well, that’s exactly what you WILL be able to experience in the chain of Ground Espresso Bars next month as they present a series of intimate gigs with BBC NI star David Meade.
The mind reader will stage a series of exclusive live appearances in the Ground cafes in Ballymoney, Coleraine, Portrush and others - all in aid of the charity Action for Children, the charity that supports and speaks out for the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK.
Owner Darren Gardiner told the Times: “David Meade is a regular customer in Ground and said to us - wouldn’t it be great to do the David Meade experience in each of the stores, in a really relaxed and intimate environment.
“We were delighted and initially we were all looking at the venture from a money-making point of view but then we decided if would be better if we did something that created a fantastic experience but was also community focussed.
“David suggested the charity Action for Children and that’s how it all started.
“We were blown away when David approached us as he really is about to hit the big time. Entry will be free but we will asking for a charity donation.”
Tickets will be limited and given on a first come first served basis, to secure your place email firstname.lastname@example.org
