AS part of their 150th Anniversary Year celebrations, West Church in Ballymena, are delighted to be staging a Flower Festival and Art Exhibition on May 10-12.

The event features Richard Haslam, the well-known Chelsea Gold Medal winning International Floral Designer and Demonstrator from County Offaly.

The Art Exhibition, also being held at this time, gives an opportunity for local artists to showcase their work.

The flower show and exhibition was launched in the presence of councillors and other distinguished local guest on Saturday when a West Church spokesperson said: “We in West Church are really excited by our forthcoming Flower Festival and Art Exhibition and invite everyone to come in to our Church and enjoy the wonderful floral displays and art work which will be on show as well as stay for a cup of coffee and a chat.

“We would love you to join with us in not only celebrating our own spiritual heritage as a congregation born out of the great 1859 Revival but also the deep and rich heritage of our town and community. You are assured of a warm welcome!”

Everyone is encouraged to attend and support this celebration of the church’s history. Donations will go to Ballymena Hospice Support Group and church funds.
