The first ever public meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses has been held in Ballycastle.

The meeting, in the Marine Hotel, was organised to give people an opportunity to hear a Bible-based discourse answering questions that concern many today.

In addition, attention was drawn to the new website – www.jw.org which is widely used throughout the world by those expressing an interest in the Bible.

The local congregation is based in Ballymoney but part of their area takes in Ballycastle and the Glens where door-to-door and street witnessing is conducted on a regular basis.

It is hoped to hold further meetings in Ballycastle in the near future, according to a spokesperson for

the congregation.
