A Dublin family is appealing for any scrap of information which could help them find their father who disappeared in January.
Patrick Douglas was last seen on Amien Street in Dublin on Sunday, January 5th.
All of his belongings were left at home except for his travel pass.
For this reason, Patrick’s family are appealing to readers of the Ballymoney and Moyle Times to keep an eye out for anyone matching his description as it is believed Patrick could have travelled anywhere in Ireland.
Patrick’s daughter Marie provided the following information:
Patrick Douglas is 64, originally from Eastwall but now living in Woodville, Coolock, Dublin.
He is 5’10” in height, Bluey-green Eyes, receding black/grey hair.
Paddy was last seen on Amien Street, Dublin, and shortly after, at Fairview at approximately 5pm on Sunday, January 5th.
Patrick left his family home at approximately 4pm. He was wearing a tan coloured leather Jacket and black Nike runners. He left the house as normal like any other day. It is now over eleven weeks since Patrick has been seen; he did not have his mobile phone, his passport, post office book with him.
All of his belongings were left at home except for a travel pass.
One of his neighbours mentioned to Gardai that he and his wife had been chatting to Patrick on the bus on the way into the City Centre. Patrick mentioned to them that he was going to the Pro-Cathedral for Mass and then possibly popping into a few second hand shops before heading back home.
At approximately 4.50pm, Patrick’s nephew Stephen who is a Dublin Bus Driver noticed Patrick standing at the 27 bus stop on Amien Street heading back towards home out of the City Centre. Shortly after this, a lady reported that she spoke to Patrick in Fairview where he said he was going to Howth. These are the last known sightings of Patrick Douglas.
