One of the Causeway Coast’s most popular hotels is undergoing a major refurbishment.

The Fullerton Arms in Ballintoy will receive a substantial investment to transform the premises from top to bottom.

Renovations, which began on Monday, are expected to take up to two weeks and while the work is taking place the 12 bedroom hotel will be closed.

Noted for its friendly atmosphere, good food and its location in the heart of some of the most popular tourist attractions in Ireland, the management team at The Fullerton felt it was time for a major makeover and their investment represents significant confidence in the hotel’s future.

Darryl Stevenson and Stephanie Gray who currently run the highly successful Millside Restaurant in Cloughmills will be bringing their expertise in the hospitality field to the Fullerton in the coming months.

The reputation and standards set by the Millside brand will be a dominant influence at the Fullerton and Darryl and Stephanie say they have no doubt that the hotel will be greatly enhanced by the investment.

“We are changing, refreshing and generally giving the premises a new look which we know will be well received by our customers.

“We will be building on the already good standards set and we hope to generate new business and employment as a result of our investment,” Darryl said.
