Derrykeighan Community Association are holding their annual fun day on Saturday 3rd September 2011, from 12 to 3 p.m.
They will have the usual inflatables, bbq, cake stall and much more. Everyone welcome. Members would welcome donations for their cake stall and raffle and these can be left at the community hall on Friday 2nd September, between 7 and 8 p.m.
THE quiz winner in the Mount Druid Vintage Rally were: 1st William Smylie, Drumawilliam Park, Ballycastle and 2nd Miss J McDougal, Carnlelis Road, Bushmills.
Thanks go to anyone who helped with the quiz, the proceeds will go to the Rectory Fund.
BARK dogs’ rehoming centre is running a pet portrait competition in September to raise funds.
In association with Jollyes Superstore in Coleraine, the competition will run on Saturday and Sunday, September 10th and 11th.
The event will run from 10am - 5pm on Saturday and from 1pm - 5pm on Sunday. You can come along and have your dog’s picture taken by a professional photographer.
All photos will be entered into a competition to appear on BARK’s Christmas card.
In addition to this, all dogs rehomed from BARK will be included in the 2012 calendar.
Entry fee for the pet portrait is just £5 per photo. Additional prints will cost extra. All proceeds to BARK.
An Old Time dance will be held in Lavin Orange Hall on Friday, September 2 from 9pm til late.Music will be by Sam and Willie O’Neill. Light supper will be served.
Cloughmills District LOL No14 is holding a variety concert on Thursday, Septmber 8 in the Orange Gall.
The event will start at 8pm and feature Skullduggery, Diane Culbertson, Billy McFarland, Amos Gilmore, Claire Knox and other special guests.
Compere will be R Agnew. Admission £6. Everyone welcome.
LAVIN LOL 913 is holding a Indoor Pairs Tournament in Lavin Orange Hall on September 5 to 9.

FINVOY Vintage Rally and Fun Day is being held on Saturday, September 24 from 11am to 4pm.
On display will be motorbikes, cars, tractors, lorries and stationary engines. There will also be line dancing, a car boot sale, hot food plus lots more stalls.
The field has been kindly donated by the Rea Family, Finvoy and the Hall kindly donated by the Finvoy Presbyterian Committee. Proceeds are in aid of Love Your Lungs, Breath Easy Causeway.

A local hall committee is holding a family fun day on Saturday, September 10.
Lisnagaver Hall committee have organised the event so that it appeals to all ages.
There’s a vintage rally musical entertainment and barbecue and a vintage rally has also been planned.
The event which is on the farm of Tommy Fenton, Duneaney Road, Rasharkin, will start at 2 p .m. and run until 7 p.m.
Everyone will be made welcome and the organisers have stressed that people are encouraged to bring along their vintage vehicles or stationary engines.
