Police in Ballymoney have arrested three men on suspicion of theft offences, in relation to an incident last Monday, October 20 night.
During the course of this investigation, 53 turkey’s have been found which are suspected to be stolen.
A police chief explained: “A number of turkeys were believed to have been stolen from a Ballymoney farm on Wednesday 15 October. A similar theft was reported to police last year. Investigators were looking at tyre marks from a vehicle believed to have been used during the theft. However following an investigation, 53 turkey’s have been found.
“If you keep turkeys, and believe any of them to be missing, give us a call on 101 - we may be able to reunite you with them!”
