T/Chief Inspector Sean Fitzpatrick has been appointed as the Police Service’s new Area Commander for Ballymoney and Moyle.
T/Chief Inspector Fitzpatrick has 14 years service and previously served as temporary area commander for Larne and Ballymena. Over the years he worked in a number of roles including CID Detective Inspector in H District covering Ballymoney and Moyle areas.
Speaking about his new appointment, T/Chief Inspector Fitzpatrick said he is looking forward to his new role: “I’m very pleased to have the opportunity to manage policing in Ballymoney and Moyle and look forward to building on the relationships and work my predecessor Chief Inspector Magill has developed.
“With the recent introduction of Our Policing Commitments, we are reinforcing at every level the need for a personal, professional and protective service to you, the public. Be reassured that your officers are committed to ensuring the safety of local residents and visitors to Ballymoney and Moyle. I look forward to getting to know the communities better in the coming weeks.”
Chief Inspector John Magill has taken up the post as Area Commander for Ballymena and Larne.
