MOYLE District Council’s Good Relations Programme has released details of two free events it is planning as part of Community Relations Week 2013.
TAPESTRY OF COLOURS
In the first event, groups and individuals will get another opportunity to see the highly acclaimed multicultural film ‘Tapestry of Colours’ which has already been shown twice in the area. The viewing will take place in the Mayor’s Parlour at Moyle District Council Offices, Ballycastle, on Monday 20th May at 1.30pm (starting with a light lunch).
‘Tapestry of Colours’, is a highly emotive film that looks at perceptions and attitudes about identity and culture, featuring some very personal and moving interviews with individuals from many diverse backgrounds and cultures.
GOOD RELATIONS GRANT PROGRAMME RE-LAUNCH & WORKSHOP
The second event being run to highlight Community Relations Week 2013, will see the re-launch of Moyle District Council’s Good Relations Grant Programme. This useful workshop will also take place in the Council Offices at Sheskburn House, Ballycastle on Tuesday 21st May from 7pm-9pm.
Groups in the Moyle area are strongly encouraged to avail of this chance to attend a facilitated workshop which is aimed at helping groups make successful applications to the Fund.
