Coleraine B&M store expansion creating 30 jobs

An additional 30 jobs are being created with the relaunch of the B&M store in Coleraine.

Following customer feedback that they wanted a bigger shop and more products, the Riverside Retail Park outlet team has already started work on the expansion.

The shop will be closing on Sunday, April 9 to complete the final stage. It will undergo a comprehensive internal and external make-over programme before re-opening its doors on Thursday, April 13 at 9am.

The sales floor will increase in size by 55% and will offer customers a bigger range of products across all departments.

The retailer currently employs 72 people but the bigger space will see them taking on an additional 30 staff.

B&M is one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers and customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including toys, food & drink, pet products and health and beauty.

John Mailey, store manager at B&M Coleraine, said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new and improved store.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our customers through the door in a few weeks.”
