A coffee morning is being held this Saturday (February 20) in Ballymoney Football Club to raise vital funds for the Perinatal Trust Fund in the Neonatal Unit in the Royal Victoria Hospital.

The event is being organised by local mother, Christina Shiels after her twin girls, now two-years-old, were born 15 weeks premature weighting just over 1lb. Christina explained: “They spent the first 17 weeks of their lives in the Royal Neonatal Unit, and it is thanks to them that they are now doing amazing.

“To say thanks I would like to raise some funds and so have organised this coffee morning. The event will take place on Saturday from 11am to 2pm in the Football Club and everyone will be made very welcome.”
