Cloughmills village has a proud history and a local community partnership has been working hard to uncover the hidden gems about its buildings and its social development going back over many centuries.

All of this is now to be presented in a Heritage Trail which will help to promote pride in the local heritage and showcase the village to tourists and visitors.

The Heritage Trail will be launched at an exhibition of local history in Cloughmills Primary School on Thursday 24 October 2013 at 7.30 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Cloughmills Community Action Team and the Cloughmills Cultural and Historical Society formed a cross community partnership to explore its shared history and work towards a shared future for the village.

Copies of the Heritage Trail leaflet are available from the Ballymoney Tourist Information Centre at Townhead Street, Ballymoney (Tel: 028 2766 0230) and from the Ballymena Tourist Information Centre at the Braid, Bridge Street, Ballymena (Tel: 028 2563 5900).
