Charity shop to help fund Malawi trip

A group of eight people mainly from the Ballymoney area are planning to travel to Malawi in Africa to embark on building work and helping spread the gospel.

The Mission trip will take the volunteers to Ekwendeni where they will become involved in building work, children’s bible and B.B. training as well as working to help village women and, most importantly for them, preaching.

In order to help with funding, a charity shop will open for one week between McAfee Estage Agents and Can Can on Main Street.

Items required for the shop are furniture, household, toys, bric-a-brac and clothing which need to be in good condition.

Items for sale can be left at the shop on Saturday, April 20 or any day between the 22nd and 27 from 9.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The shop will open on the Saturday (20th) and run until the following Saturday.

Anyone who could help for a few hours at the shop or for any queries should ring Robert Moore (Finvoy congregation) on 028 276 62076 or 075151 28826.
