The 90th birthday party celebrations also reflected on the message that the occasion provides.

Mrs Lyons, who organised the event, would like to thank everyone who attended.

She added: “I would specially thank the team of volunteers who made the event such a success. Everyone who attended had a great time helping to celebrate this momentous occasion.

“I would also like to thank Causeway Coast and Glens Council for providing support through the Queen’s Birthday Fund.”
