GOT a special occasion, wedding, birthday party, formal? Can’t find the perfect accessories to go with that ‘out-of-this-world’ outfit?
Well look no further than Be Unique, a new shop located on 142 Main Street in Bushmills which boosts a vast array of handmade tiaras, jewellery and accessories specialising in bridal pieces as well as fashion jewellery.
Wedding Jewellery and accessories are very personal and important items. They accentuate your dress and make your photographs sparkle. And chosen carefully brides and bridesmaids can wear them again and again on special occasions.
Be Unique is the brainchild of local lady Emma McConaghy (nee Campbell) who is not only the owner put also the designer.
Emma explained: “I graduated from the University of Ulster in 2004 with a BA Hons in Fine and Applied Arts- specialising in jewellery design, I also completed my PGCE teaching certificate the following year, since then my business has progressed and my designs are fast becoming the first choice for women searching for that special one-off piece.
“I can do anything from tiaras and headdresses, necklaces and chokers, earrings and fashion jewellery as well as table and cake decorations so a particular ‘theme’ runs throughout the day.
“I use a selection of swarovski crystals and pearls as well as Venetian glass and fire polished beads to create unique designs.
“I enjoy working with beads, wires, feathers, ribbons and many more materials to design and produce unique and
Individual pieces. I also make a range of fashion jewellery and I can design individual pieces to match any outfit and colour, which is ideal for bridesmaids, flowergirls and mother of the bride/groom. Attention to detail and customer satisfaction is extremely important to me and I no job is too big or too small.”
Emma also designs pieces for clients of Logan’s and stocks a range of jewellery in the Gift Boutique in Ballymoney.
