Breakdown of Trust savings

Local MLA Daithi McKay has ask the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety for a breakdown of the £600,000 that the Northern Trust have said would be saved as a result of closing 32 beds at Dalriada Hospital.

In a written answer, the Minister explained: ‘The Northern Trust expects to make the following savings as a result of the temporary closure of 12 MS Respite beds and 20 Intermediate Care beds in Dalriada Hospital. The savings plan will apply until 31 March 2015.
