Ballymoney police notes

BALLYMONEY Police released the following information to the press this week.

Police are investigating the theft of a power washer hose, a ladder and a chain from a house in the Ballyweaney Road area of Corkey. The items are valued at around £1,000 in total and are believed to have been taken sometime in the last two weeks. Ballymoney police believe that a trailer and vehicle would have been needed to take the items away and so are appealing for anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area across the past fortnight to contact them.

* Police made two arrests on suspicion of driving whilst unfit in the Ballymoney area across the past week. The unrelated arrests both came following minor road traffic collisions where police believe alcohol was a factor.
