Ballymoney man's case adjourned

A Ballymoney man who allegedly contravened a Non-Molestation Order at Portstewart Promenade has appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court.

Steven James Mitchell (36), of Mullan Road, is accused of committing the offence on March 27 this year.

At court on Monday April 25 a police officer believed she could connect him to the charge.

The case was adjourned to May 23 and the accused was released on his own bail of £300 with a condition that he has no contact with two individuals.

MOTORING

A Bendooragh man has pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified and absence of insurance.

William Christopher Kennedy (26), of Edenmore Avenue, appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday April 25.

The offences were detected in the vicinity of Bann Road in the Ballymoney area on April 7 this year.

His case was adjourned to May 23 for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

DRUGS

A man with a Rasharkin address has been charged with drugs offences.

Jaroslaw Dymek (38), of Churchfields, is accused of importing; possession and possession of Ecstasy with intent to supply relating to dates last year.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday April 25 in his absence the case was adjourned to June.
