Forget Britain’s Got Talent, get along to the Marine Hotel on Thursday and you will see that Ballycastle is the place to go for all-round talent.
On Thursday (April 10th) young people aged between 12 and 19, from both Cross and Passion College and Quadrangle Productions, will take to the stage in the Marine Hotel, Ballycastle, to wow their audience with performances featuring song, dance and acting.
This is a collaborative effort between the two organisations to help raise some much needed funds.
Chairperson of Quadrangle Productions, Caroline McAfee said: “Schools are always in need in a boost of funds for vital projects and our group really need to raise some money to help us bring our Variety Concert to the Riverside Theatre this year, so we thought – what better way to try to raise some funds for our organisations than allowing young people to take to the stage and show off their skills!”
Cross and Passion College held a heat in their school during which six acts were chosen to go through to the final. These six acts will join five acts from Quadrangle Productions and together they will make up a night of entertainment not to be missed!
Mrs McAfee said: “There is a wealth of talent amongst the young people in our area and we really wanted to offer them a chance to showcase their skills in front of a wider audience.
“All of the acts are fantastic and we encourage everyone to come along and give these young people your support.”
The event kicks off at 8pm and admission is £5 per person. Please come along and give these young people the encouragement they deserve. Tickets are available on the door on the night.
