A good selection of antique and general furnishings are included in McAfee Auctions’ next general sale at their Ballycastle sale rooms on Friday, 20th June commencing at 6.30pm.

The contents of several properties and the residual furnishings of others, there is a good selection of living room, dining room and bedroom furniture, and the sale includes a lot of restoration pieces, and pieces of furniture ideal for painting.

There is, of course, all the usual collectibles including many pieces of Worcester, lots of Doultons and Hummels, crystal, silver, and there is a big collection of jewellery and watches.

A good collection of paintings included a small watercolour by R Faulkner, one by G W Morrison and other works by Gregory Moore, Con Campbell, R Cochrane.

An inlaid mahogany longcased and other clocks are also included.

More unusual lots include a 1990 318i BMW Car with exceptionally low mileage, electrics include a Smeg fridge, washing machine, chest freezer, microwave etc, old bay scales, bird bath, boat motor, electric organ, upright piano, pieces of taxidermy, etc etc.

Viewing commences on Wednesday and Thursday 18th and 19th, June, from 3.00 – 5.00 and 7.00 – 8.30pm and on the day of sale from 3.30pm.

McAfee Auctions’ last sale of the season is a Fine Art and Furnishings sale in the Ballymoney sale rooms on Thursday 26th June

at 7.00pm.
