TWO arrests were made in Ballycastle after police were called to break-up a disturbance involving around 90 people in the seafront area of the town in the early hours of Monday - the first day of the Lammas Fair.
A PSNI spokesperson said the males, with Ballymena addresses, were arrested on bench warrants.

The spokesperson said officers were called to the scene around 1.40am and when they stopped the trouble the crowd showed some aggression towards police.

Meanwhile, also on Sunday a 22-year-old Armoy man was arrested for disorderly behaviour at The Diamond and in the same area a male was assaulted.

Again on Sunday a car was broken into at Ann Street Car Park. A golf club was used to smash a window and £300 cash was stolen.

In another incident on Sunday a 22-year-old Armoy man was arrested for alleged disorderly behaviour, resisting arrest, assault on police and the suspected theft of wine from Wineflair in Ballycastle.
