'Refusal' for Rasharkin scheme: Planners

PLANNERS are currently of an opinion to refuse a scheme for 15 homes at 300 Finvoy Road, Rasharkin.
The applicant was listed in the planning scheduled as the surname Wallace.

The scheme involves the redevelopment of lands at 300 Finvoy Road to provide seven townhouses, four apartments and four duplex apartments.

Planners say the scheme will fail to provide a quality residential environment. They add there are sight line issues and environmental health issues about bin storage.

Rasharkin DUP councillor Roy Wilson asked for a meeting with planners.
