A wonderful collection of nostalgic photographs has recently been donated to Ballymoney Museum.
The colour pictures, all on 35mm slides, are a valuable insight into local life as far back as the 1950s and belonged to the late Danny Martin, of Portstewart.
Danny was a talented photographer and, among the hundreds of slides, are scenes of festivals, weddings, parades, parties, sports meetings, club events, tourist attractions and even the celebrated Miss NW200 competitions! The collection will now be incorporated into the museum's growing archive of photographs.

Ballymoney Museum is very grateful to Jimmy O'Neill and Wallace McNaul who brought the collection to the attention of the museum.

Ballymoney Museum would like some help identifying people in Danny Martin's pictures. Do you recognise any faces? Contact the museum at Tel: 028 2766 0230 or Email: museum@ballymoney.gov.uk .
