There has been much interest recently regarding the Rathlin to Ballycastle Swim held in August and the swims across the Rathlin Sound last year. Some people claimed last year's swim was the first of its kind for around 40 years since Jack McClelland conquered the currents.
Now, however, Independent councillor Price McConaghy recalls ongratulating a swimmer who came in from Rathlin some time in the 1980s. He can't remember who but produced this photo. Can you name the swimmer? Contact the Ballymoney & Moyle Times on 27666216.
