Ballymoney’s Christmas switch-on details unveiled!

There’s a real festive spirit in Ballymoney this Christmas.

We’ll be switching on the lights on Thursday 22 November with entertainment from 4.30pm and late night shopping til 9pm. Santa’s Sweets kindly sponsored by The Candy Store, Church Street.

Shop in Ballymoney for your chance to win a share of £200 of vouchers every week in December. Participating stores are Bella Mia, Anne Shiels Jewellers, Robert H Gault, The Winsome Lady, Hair Studio 101, E J Cassells, Bonds Jewellers, Innovation Flooring. And John Laverty Optometrists want children to crack the cracker code to be in with a chance of winning £50 cash!

Visit Santa’s Grotto in EJ Cassells Main St on Fridays 3pm -5pm and Saturdays 12 noon to 4pm. Entry of £1 includes a selection box for all children of primary school age. All kindly sponsored by Bank of Ireland UK, Danske Bank, First Trust Bank and Ulster Bank.

There’ll be music in Ballymoney town centre every Saturday afternoon in December including festive fun with fUSe FM (1st Dec), Christmas with the King, Elvis (8th December), Christmas with Disney (15th December) and Carols with the Churches (22nd December).

As well as this year’s panto, Dick Whittington on Tues 27 and Wed 28 November, Ballymoney Town Hall will be showing Oliver Twist on Sat 1 December, 11am and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Sat 8 Dece,ber, also at 11am. Tuck shop from the Candy Store available at the evening pantos and both movies.

Additional late night in the town centre on Thurs 20th and Fri 21st December, with selected shops also opening every Friday night in December. FREE accessible on street parking after 6pm.
