DUNAGHY Flute Band will hold their annual dinner dance on Saturday, February 23rd in the Manor Hotel in Ballymoney at 7.30pm.

Plantation talk

THE Ullans Speakers Association is pleased to announce that a talk on the plantation of Ulster its effect on Ballymoney area will take place in the Ullans Centre, 4-6 Victoria Street, Ballymoney on Thursday 14th February at 12 noon.

The talk will be given by John Hamilton from Causeway Museum Services. Afterwards a light lunch will be provided, so if you are interested in attending to find out more about the plantation era locally, please contact the Ullans Centre on 028 276 68897 to book your place.

LISNAGAVER ILOL No29 presents Moycraig Young Farmers’ Club Players in the hilarious Sam Cree comedy “Separate Beds” in Ballymoney Town Hall on March 16th at 8pm.

Annual dinner

EAST Antrim Sinn Fein are holding their first annual dinner dance on Saturday March 2 in The Glens Hotel, Cushendall. Prominant guest speakers will be in attendance and there will be music.

Moyle Sinn Fein councillor Colum Thompson says tickets are available from the East Antrim Sinn Fein Office, 19 High Street, Carnlough, on 02828885800.

Valentine’s dance

A VALENTINE’S dance is being held on Friday, February 15 from 8pm to late in Stranocum Community Centre.

Admission is £5 per person including a light supper.

Music will be provided by Alastair Coyles.

The event is open to all, especially those living within the Ballybogey, Stranocum and Balnamore areas.
