Christmas Fayre

THE annual Christmas Fayre organised by Mullans Independent LOL No34 and Finvoy No Surrender Club of Apprentice Boys of Derry will take place in Keers Memorial Orange Hall in Finvoy on Friday, December 14th at 7.30pm.

There will be the usual stalls with a wide variety of goods on offer. Tombola, large hampoer and other prizes up for grabs. Admission £2 including supper. Everyone welcome.

Xmas market

BALLYCASTLE Christmas market will take place on Sunday, November 25th.

The venue will be the Ballycastle Ferry Terminal and Portnagree Hall and the market will run from 11am - 3pm.

There will be 20 festive stalls over two halls with traders old and new exhibiting.

‘Biggest Bang’

QUADRANGLE Productions are presenting “The Biggest Bang” in Ballycastle this Saturday.

The venue is the McAlister Hall on Moyle Road in Ballycastle with the show commencing at 7.30pm.

Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for children under 11. Pay at the door. The organisers hope as many people as possible from the local community will come out and support the group.

Variety concert

BUSHMILLS local committee of Cancer Research UK are holding a Variety Concert on Thursday, November 22 at 7.45pm.

The concert in the Hamill Hall in Bushmills will feature Desi Mac, Marbeth Templeton, Kenny Mitchell, Neil Stronge with compere Sammy Haire.

Admission £6.

Beetle Drive

BALLYMONEY LOL 956 are holding a Beetle Drive in the Lounge of the Bush Tavern on Friday, November 23 at 8pm.

Admission to the general public is adults £3 and school children £1. Everyone welcome.

Switch-on

STRANOCUM and District Community Association and Stranocum and District Development Group are holding their Christmas lights switch-on on Friday, November 30th at 7.30pm. Starting at the entrance to Haw Bank where there will be entertainment from Bushvalley Primary School choir followed by the big switch-on.

Everyone will make their way down to the Community Hall for a festive supper. Children will then have the opportunity to visit Santa’s grotto.
