Thanks to the generosity of friends, neighbours and the support of the local community who bought quiz sheets, donated prizes and made donations - a total of £1,522 was raised for cancer.

A portion of the money was used to purchase an electric reclining chair for the cancer treatment room at Laurel House in Antrim Hospital, where cancer patients receive chemotherapy treatment.

The balance will be sent to the Radiotherapy Unit at the Belfast City Hospital to be used to buy miscellaneous supplies for cancer patients and their families.

Again all of your help and support was very much appreciated.
