Good Samaritan

SIR - Just a little story that restores one's faith in human nature.
On Wednesday September 12 I was in Ballymoney and accidentally left a greetings card and a small package on the summer seat outside the Ulster Bank.
I walked off not realising what I had done and it wasn’t until later sitting in Anne’s Cafe, that I went to look for the said items and discovered them missing.
I retraced my movements and thought I would call in at the bank per chance someone had handed them in, etc.
To my very pleasant surprise someone had indeed gone to the trouble of picking them up and leaving them in the Ulster Bank.
Through the channel of your newspaper I would like to thank that person very much for their honesty, kindness and thoughtfulness. It is very much appreciated.
We tend to hear on the news and read so often about the less nice of things happening but not always the good side of things.
If you can publish a little thank you from the information I have given you I would appreciate it.
Yours, etc.,
Anne McCormick
