SIR - Last week the condition of the welcome sign at Trinity Drive in Glebeside was correctly criticised in your paper. We accept that it should have been maintained better however this week it will be replaced with a new sign and therefore was not seen as a priority in recent weeks. The new sign will include a large map of the estate to assist with directions.
We have however one question. If the resident lives within the estate, why does he or she not become involved and assist the Glebeside Community Association and its work?
The improvement of the area is not just for the volunteers already involved with the group and is the responsibility of everyone. Obviously the more helpers, the more work that can be done.
Yours Glebeside Community Association
