BENVARDEN near Ballymoney is a failed Safari Park taken over by the USPCA in order to rescue the hundreds of exotic animals left behind.
After expanding thousands of pounds the Charity has successfully re-homed many of the animals to sanctuaries across Europe. The shelter intakes and re-homes dogs from both Coleraine, Ballymoney and Moyle Council areas.

A part of the Benvarden site has begun a new life as a Wildlife Sanctuary.

This is run by Wildlife (NI) a voluntary organisation that rescues, rehabilitates and releases native wildlife.

A facility we frequently avail of thus cutting response times to calls concerning injured birds and animals.
USPCA Animal Information Line is 028 9081 42422.
Benvarden contact 028 3083 0631.
