THE Menu of Moyle winners were announced last week at a function in Ballycastle.
This year 20 establishments in Moyle entered the initiative which was divided into a number of catgeories.
The judging was based on people sampling the food and marking accordingly.

Well-known celebrity chef, Jenny Bristow, was present for the prize giving and she commended all who had been involved.
"This year we have seen local food and tourism coming together and now, more than ever, we have seen joined up thinking.

"I am very passionate about Northern Ireland produce and that, combined with the area you have here, with Fairhead and the sea, the marketing is done for you and the story is there to see.
"It's a great way of bringing more money into the area and moving forward.

"It's lovely to see th epassionate work that went into the menus, and there is no better food in the world. What is happening here is very special."

The Cellar in Ballycastle won the restaurant category with the Manor House on Rathlin getting a highly commended award.
Ballintoy's Fullerton Arms won the pubs and inns category for the second year in a row and Donnelly's Bakery and Coffee Shop in Ballycastle took the brasseries and coffee shops category.
