Ballymoney Borough Council is pleased to announce that the work is complete on the new and improved Health & Fitness Club at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre.
Local Building Contractor J.S Dunlop transformed the existing Fitness Suite following an investment of £350,000 from Pulse Fitness and Ballymoney Borough Council. The new Club aims to improve the Health and well being of everyone in the wider Community. The new Health & Fitness Club will have the latest equipment as follows:

* 70+ Station Gym containing the latest Pulse Freedom cardio and evolve strength range of equipment.

* The latest Audio Visual entertainment equipment including multi-screen television and surround sound.
* Pulse's Gym management software Smart, a new motivational experience in personal training for Gym Members to achieve their personal fitness goals.

The new Health & Fitness Club refurbishment is phase II of a one year rolling plan of improvements. The first phase, which opened in September 2007, included two new saunas, a steam room, Spa pool, experience shower and four relaxation loungers. This, coupled with the new spacious high specification changing rooms and locker facilities makes this Health & Fitness Club the envy of most 5 star operations in the Health & Fitness industry.
