THE Adelphi Portrush is celebrating its first anniversary, having just been awarded four-star status.
The combination of luxurious bedrooms, in-house health suite, dermalogica spa, conference facilities, and the superb Bistro Restaurant means Adelphi is setting a new standard for the area.
All 28 spacious bedrooms are individually designed, and feat
ure luxurious furnishings and state-of-the-art technology such as LCD televisions and VOIP telephones.

The wide range of rooms includes sea view, family, wheelchair accessible, honeymoon and executive suites.
The latter have their own lounge with workstation, telephone and television. A lift services all floors and guests have use of two large lounges, both with 50" plasma televisions.

Maintaining this high standard doesn't come easily, as although family run, by Mark and Amanda Holmes, Adelphi Portrush employs 26 staff.
Continued training is encouraged and in the last year alone more than 30 training courses have been completed. The entire staff team are looking forward to this year to continue building on their success. Should you wish to have a tour of the Adelphi this can be arranged by contacting reception.

Speciality teas and freshly ground coffees are always made to order and have proved to be particularly popular with guests from both near and far.
In January Adelphi Portrush was awarded its drinks licence, and a range of wines and spirits was sourced to complement the bistro menu.
Draught Guinness and Harp were installed after Easter. The Bistro has eighty covers, and opens from 12-3pm for lunches and from 5pm for the a-la-carte menu. Produce is locally sourced where possible and menus change on a regular basis.

The Adelphi has proved popular with conference groups due to its ability to accommodate meetings of up to eighty delegates and allow additional breakout rooms with conference facilities.
Although located in the centre of town, unrestricted parking is readily available, just opposite the Adelphi, in Bath Terrace and Bath Street.
The latest addition to the hotel is the Adelphi Spa, a full beauty salon with the entire range of Dermalogica products.

Treatments available include Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage, Manicures, Waxing and Facials. Spa packages are now available to non residents and include use of the Health Suite which has a sauna, spa and steam room.

These additional facilities place the Adelphi Spa in a unique position on the North Coast.
