MOYLE Council has been given an update on the new arrangements surrounding the fitness suite at Sheskburn in Ballycastle.
A report said: ‘As members are aware from previous reports the Recreation Centre refurbished the existing Fitness Suite and doubles the provision through utilising an adjoining space.

‘Pulse Fitness supplied and installed the new equipment and the Fitness Suite now boasts their new top of the range Cardio-Vascular and Resistance Machines.

‘At Council’s August meeting it was agreed to follow the current trend within the leisure/local authority environment and enter into a profit share agreement with Pulse Fitness 65/35 in favour of Council. The new provision Club Pulse opened on 10th October and had 711 visits in October.

‘Pulse had set a target to achieve 40 memberships before the 31st October. That target has been exceeded with 64 members signed up to date. Publicity leaflets will be distributed,’ said the report.
