SATURDAY, October 4 is a date that many in the Armoy area will be reserving for another charity event.
For that’s when local lady, Margaret McCaughan, will be supervising her coffee morning in St. Olcan’s Community Hall in aid of Macmillan Cancer.

Margaret says this is her sixth year running the event in which all the proceeds go to a very worthy cause.

She’s done very well each time boosting the Macmillan coffers by thousands in those years.

Margaret enjoys help from family and friends and is grateful for those who set up a small stall selling jams and some bread.

“I really appreciate the support given by the community and hope they’ll be with me on Saturday,” Margaret told the Times.
