Rathlin Festival

A HOST of events will be held on Rathlin during the island's Festival Week between July 12 and July 19.
According to ‘Island News’ the events are: Sunday July 12 - Festival Week Cup Model Yacht Race; ceili music by Ciaran Dempsey and Patrick Black in the Hall.

Monday July 13 - Whist Drive in Hall.

Tuesday July 14 - Scrabble Tournament in Hall.

Wednesday July 15 - Raft Race & Horse Shoe Tossing on Beach (weather permitting).

Thursday July 16 and Friday July 17 - Two one act plays by Rathlin Drama Group - ‘A Burglary Will Take Place Here’ and ‘Rory Aforesaid’, starting at 8.30pm.

Saturday July 18 - Teddy Bear’s Picnic in Playground by Hall (bring along your favourite teddy and a packed lunch) followed by a ping pong ball race and a sand castle competition at 12.30pm. Parents are asked to stay and help out with the activities.

Sunday July 19 - Kinramer Trophy Model Yacht Race and Festival Week barbecue. Ceili music by Ciaran Dempsey and Patrick Black in Hall.
