IN days gone by the Quay Road hall in Ballycastle was the scene of many a 'good do' and with the kind permission of the owners the Community Safety Wardens are aiming to bring the dance floor back to life on Tuesday next.
For one night only The Quay Road Hall will become a night club. Blazers Entertainment are providing the music and lighting gear similar to that used in top night clubs across Northern Ireland.

The Community Safety Wardens along with a few dedicat
ed local volunteers will make sure that the evening runs well and that everyone has the chance to have a really good time.

Bridgeen Butler, the Community Safety Manager said “The Wardens have worked very hard this year and a party night seemed a good way to round up 2009. It also demonstrates the Wardens commitment to providing opportunities for young people in the Town”.

The event is specifically for 11 to 17 years old and starts at 8.30pm and will finish at 11.30pm, “we hope the party night is a great success and we want as many of the young people of Moyle to come along and have a good time” says Stu one of the Wardens “however, we still need more volunteers to help us make the event a success.”

So, for anyone interested the party night starts @ 8.30 pm on 29th December 2009 in The Quay Road Hall and the admission is £2. Refreshments will be available. If you would like more information or would like to volunteer contact either Anthony or Stu on 07545 926964 or e-mail communitysafetywardens@moyle-council.org.
