ARE you longing to pen and publish a children's book?
Then Ballyeamon Barn near Cushendall is the place to be on Saturday May 3.

Published author, Maddie Stewart will conduct a workshop from 10.30am-4.30pm at that venue and will look at the markeet, publisher’s series and target age groups as well as what makes a great story/

She will also discuss dialogue, characters, editing, how to submit a manuscript and what to expect.

Maddie had her first book, Peg, published by Mammoth, Heineman, in 1999. Peg has been translated into Italian (Mondadori) and South Korean and is available in the USA and Canada (Crabtree). Clever Daddy was published by Walker Books in 2003. O’Brien Press published Bertie Rooster as one of four titles chosen to launch their new series for young readers.
