Parents Dyslexia Support Group meeting

SLEMISH College Parents Dyslexia Support Group will be holding their first meeting of the new season in the College’s Sixth Form Centre on Thursday, September 27, from 7.30-9pm.

Guest speaker, Mrs Claire Hamilton will reveal her fascinating life story - from being a dyslexic child through to dyslexic adulthood, achieving a degree along the way.

Those who attend will also be given a demonstration on colourimetry by a representative of McCandless Opticians.

The meeting of the Group, which earlier this year won a gold star award for ‘parental involvement’ from the National Council of Parent Teachers Association (NCPTA), is open to all with an interest in dyslexia.
