Liz scoops a £1000 Xmas bonus

A Cloughmills woman can enjoy a more enjoyable Christmas after scooping £1000 in a draw last week.

Liz Stewart won the money in the ballot organised by the Kerr Smiley Bushside Regeneration committee for Lodge funds.

Liz’s name was drawn out by Esther Buick before other members of the committee.

Dervock lady, Sandra McLernon, won the second prize of £350 and Elizabeth Stewart took third spot with £150.

The Kerr Smiley hall is currently undergoing an overhaul with an extension currently underway.

The committee would like to thank all those who sold tickets or helped in any way and a special thanks is due to the general public for their support in the venture.
