Congratulations Ronan!

BALLYCASTLE SDLP Councillor Dónal Cunningham has congratulated local man Ronan Hill on winning a Creative Arts Emmy for his work on Game of Thrones. Ronan was part of the team that won the Outstanding Sound Mixing category for a TV drama series.

Ronan is the younger brother of double Olivier award winning actor Conleth Hill who is also involved in the TV drama Game of Thrones playing the character Varys. Conleth also played “Paddy” in the 2011 Oscar winning short film “The Shore”

“Ronan’s success is an example of how local talent can work successfully on high profile film and TV productions. I would like to congratulate Ronan on his deserved success,” said Cllr Cunningham.
