MEMBERS of Ballintoy Young –at- Heart Club would like to thank everyone who supported them in their recent Treasure Hunt.
They promised there would be easy clues, so they had to resort to tie-breakers as no-one got the exact mileage.
After a close contest, Brian and Audrey Jamieson were declared the winners, with Helen Mc Curdy and Margaret Graham in second place. However, lots of people were winners as there were so many raffle prizes!
Brian and Helen were presented with their prizes at the final Club meeting for the season, but as Brian now knows, there is no such thing as a free lunch!
Members couldn't let him go without a song, and he entertained us with a fine rendition of "The Green Glens of Antrim."
Thankfully, the rest of us didn't have to sing for the excellent supper provided by Liam Reid!
