THE Mill Youth Club, supported by Balnamore and District Community Association have launched the next phase of their 'Cut Our Carbon' campaign with the distribution of a second Environmental Newsletter to all households in the area and a second 'Recycle and Win' day is planned for Saturday 24th May at Fulton Park recycling site.
This month, the group are focusing on the ‘3 R’s – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle’. Senior members of the club have participated in an education session with Declan Donnelly, Ballymoney Borough Council where they learned what happens to the various items placed in the recycling banks.

The young people will be on hand on May 24th to give advice and information on how to ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’. There are banks for recycling cans, bottles, mixed paper and textiles at the recycling site and during the afternoon, tetra packs, old mobile phones and printer cartridges will also be accepted.

Anyone wishing to recycle should come along between 2pm and 3.30pm. There will be giveaways and fun activities for children, while each adult will be entered into a FREE prize draw.

For more information on recycling please contact Declan Donnelly at Ballymoney Borough Council on 27662057.
