FOR the past number of years local lady Julie Cummins has undertaken different fundraising activities – this year is no exception.
On Saturday 26th April 08 Julie will be abseiling down the Europa hotel in Belfast in aid of charity. Two charities will benefit from this fundraising - Ignite and SANDS.

Ignite is a local inter-denominational Christian charity who work directly in Uganda and have just recently funded the building of a school in the impoverished area of Lira. Julie’s previous fundraising activities have supported the Ignite charity and she continues to have close links with their work.

If you would like to learn more about Ignite they can be found at http://www.ignite-u.co.uk. SANDS will also be benefitting this year. The charity provides excellent support and Julie has requested that all donations are used to help their work in Northern Ireland. Further details of SANDS and the work they do can be found at http://www.uk-sands.org.

If you would like to sponsor Julie details can be found at www.justgiving.com/juliecummins.
