AS part of the ongoing consultation, Dervock Community Association, local residents, and the Housing Executive (cohesion unit) a propos (Re-Imaging Communities) are collectively looking at alternative mediums to express the diverse culture that makes up the identity of the village.
A meeting, taking the form of an open forum, has been arranged for this Friday at 3.00pm in the Community House to discuss and identify the alternative expressions of culture reflective of a community in transition.

Also to be tabled at the meeting will be the prospect of a wall painting on the gable of the Orange Hall in the village commemorating the 30th anniversary of Dervock Young Defenders FB, the maintenance of the community mural and chemical blasting to remove the remnants of kerb painting from the area.
