A GROUP of over 55's have taken part in a crime prevention road show.
The aim of the event was to give advice to more elderly residents in Moyle on how to keep safe and to prevent crime.

Addressing the 12-monthly District Policing Partnership meeting in Cushendall, police chief David Anderson explained: “Police in Moyle have run a crime prevention road show.

“Plays were put on by the over 55s in partnership with CSP and police to give advice to more elderly residents on how to keep safe and to prevent crime.

“The impact of the scheme is to reduce thefts and burglaries as well as crime against the elderly. It also aims to help community safety.
