THE Ballymoney Committee of Cancer Research UK would like to thank all those who took part in the annual fun run in the Riverside Park on Friday 22 May.
They would also like to thank Ballymoney Borough Council for the use of the facility and provision of the speaker system on the night concerned.

Thanks also go to Debbie Tutty (Springwell RC) for her assistance in organising the 5K event

At this stage the organisers are pleased to report that a fantastic sum of £3086 has been raised.

There are still a few sponsorship sheets to be returned so if these could be forwarded to Mervyn Ferris 07703 582734 as soon as possible or alternatively leave with Chris at the Ballymoney Times office.

The next event on the Cancer Research UK Calendar is the annual doorstep collection week commencing 20 July culminating in the Annual Parade of bands and vintage cars on Saturday 1 August 2009.
