Can you help save Bumblebees Nursery?

AN appeal has been made to the community in Ballymoney to help safeguard the future of the Bumblebees Nursery.
The facility, which is a vital service for the local community, faces cerain closure in June unless it can be re-housed.

A statement from the nursery said: "The thriving Bumblebees Nursery, a one of a kind non profit making community project faces closure on the 30th June due to the loss of its premises.

"Unless we can find a suitable alternative property the community will lose this vital service and some 40 children and 12 staff will have nowhere to go and the whole project will be forever lost."

Calling for immediate help, the spokesperson added: "We are appealing to someone out there who has a suitable premises that we can lease to contact us urgently on 02827663300.

"In addition we require volunteers to prepare any property to a suitable standard for young children. Do you have any skills or any spare time and are willing to lend us a hand?

"Please help us to save the community nursery not only for the current children but for all those youngsters in the future."
