ST Brigid's Primary School, Ballymoney marked Catholic Schools' Week (January 31 to February 6) with a series of special events.
On Monday, pupils, parents, family and friends celebrated St Brigid's Day with mass in the parish church.
In the lead up to St Brigid's Day the children also made traditional crosses using rushes, exactly like those made the the school's patron 1500 years ago.
Later in the week the children celebrated Grandparents' Day.
Prayers were said for grandfathers and grandmothers who play such an important role in caring for their grandchildren and passing on to them the light of faith.
